Pakistani Media including Geo TV, Express NEWS, Dunya TV, DAWN TV, AAJ TV are running after each others in a race who first breaking any story. In this race of breaking stories they have forgot their responsibilities to uncover the truth and lie. They have forgotten to present the real facts to the public without any underlying emotional meanings or commercial interests. In this race of covering breaking stories they are even involved in spreading scientific scams without any validity and proofs. Any sensible media group in the world have their specific scientific reporting teams which include many science subject experts.
Recently a scientific scam is very hot in the news that a so called Pakistani Engineer have designed a water fuel kit. Before going into further details of this scam let us see a very funny scientific scam which was publish and telecast by the Pakistani media.
It is not a very old story. On January 19, 2011 Express TV telecast a breaking news “Pakistani scientist Professor Aurangzeb Hafi has been named one of the ten Global Thematic Merit Icons of the Decade” with a small interview of this so called scientist Prof. Hafi. This news story was not only broadcasted on their news channel but was also published in their news paper (both in paper and in electronic form at URL http://tribune.com.pk/story/108003/prof-hafi-among-global-thematic-merit-icons-of-the-decade/ ). His interview was also published on the YouTube URL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFZPKZYS14w (As per current status this video have been removed by the Express TV) . Dr Hafi had earned great honour for Pakistan by developing ‘Magneto-Agricultural Development Model and Sectorial Magnetic Model’ which would have an impact on the fields of agriculture, environmental and medical sciences, space biology, magnetobotanics, magnetohydrodynamics and multidisciplinary sciences.
Hafi along with psychologist Stephen Soldz have also been nominated as the Thematic Merit “Persons of the Decade”.
This so called scientist fooled most of the media of Pakistan. Just visit his web page http://siraurangzeb.org/cv.php most of his credential proved that he is a mental person but Express TV reported him as a pride of Pakistan. I was in UK in Jan 2011. Just after watching this breaking news and this fake interview I called Express TV and came to know they are totally ignorant about science. The present story of Car Running on water fuel is also an example of similar scam being spread by the media. This so called engineer was unable to satisfy Dr. Atta-ur-Reham with any solid argument (http://www.saach.tv/2012/07/30/news-night-with-talat-30-7-12/).
Let us say this is 100% true and his water kit is a reality then why he is begging aid from Govt. He can make and earn a lot from his own skills by installing these kits to their customers cars. He can start with a small workshop first. Anyhow this idea to use Water as a fuel is not a new. However the present cars can not use water as a fuel.
